Using Essential Oils

There are many ways of benefiting from essential oils.

VAPORIZATION

Picture

Probably the most popular way in the home. Ideal for relaxing and relieving the pressures of the day or to create differing moods with the home. Use them to relax or as a room freshener, an aid to concentration or even in the sick room.

Use either a burner, light bulb ring, Aromastone or even a small bowl of water on a radiator (a bit of a problem in summer)!

In the bath

A great way to sooth away the stresses of the day or to revitalize you for that special occasion. Just add a few drops (5 or 6) to a teaspoon of carrier oil, drop into a full bath and mix around. Then just lie back and bask in the bath enjoying the aroma and of course the therapeutic effects.

Massage

Sheer luxury. Put 4-6 drops of essential oil with 2 teaspoons of carrier oil (10ml) and blend well. The choice of oils is enormous and use one or a blend of two or more to suit your mood.

Foot Baths

Fantastic for aching feet and to cool you down. You really will be amazed how effective a few drops (about 6) in a bowl of water can be.

Room Spray

Marvelous to freshen a room. Put a few drops of essential oil in a plant sprayer, fill with water, shake energetically and spray. Avoid glass or polished surfaces.

Inhalation

Great for clearing the head. A couple of drops in a bowl of steaming water, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and breathe in deeply. Do take extra care if you suffer from allergic reactions such as asthma or hayfever, as this method may not be suitable for you

A great range of fantastic products which you will find hard to beat on quality & price anywhere!
